Ryder Cup 2027 · Adare Manor · 17–19 September

Four houses in Killaloe for the 2027 Ryder Cup.

We own four holiday homes in Killaloe, Co. Clare, where Lough Derg narrows into the Shannon. Adare Manor is about 40 minutes away by road. The town has its own pubs, restaurants and a harbour, so you are not stuck in a hotel corridor with 250,000 other people.

The four houses

Two three-bedroom houses a few doors apart at Kincora Harbour, a two-bedroom townhouse on Church Street in the middle of town, and a fourth we are getting ready to list. The three that are on Airbnb today are rated between 4.87 and 4.98 by guests. Each is rented as a whole house.

Each house is let whole. The Ryder Cup week is a fixed eight-night block, Saturday 11 to Sunday 19 September or Sunday 12 to Monday 20 September 2027, the same eight-night standard the official programme uses. Nights either side, from 4 September and until 26 September, can be added. Rates are given on enquiry: tell us your dates and group size and we will send a written quote.

The town

Why stay in Killaloe

Adare is a village of about 1,100 people with a handful of hotels, and the organisers expect around 250,000 spectators over the week. There is no spectator parking at the course, so wherever you stay you will arrive by park-and-ride bus or by train shuttle. Staying next door buys you very little.

From Killaloe you are on the M7 in ten minutes and at the Limerick-side park-and-ride in about 35. In the evening you come back to a town with a dozen places to eat, most of them on the water, rather than to a hotel bar with a queue.

Killaloe is also a good place to spend a week in its own right. It was Brian Boru's seat a thousand years ago, the cathedral is 13th century, and the lake is right there for kayaking, cruises and swimming. Ballina, across the bridge in Co. Tipperary, has the other half of the restaurants.
